I haven't heard any complaints about the beta site in a while, so here we are.  Jackie is now closer to web 2.0 compliance, featuring buzzwords such as "AJAX" and "Ruby on Rails."  Please report any problems in the comments or via email.

To bring further compliance with the 2.0 you need a snazzy beta style logo, tagging, feeds and something to do with social, but otherwise it is a step in a cleaner 2.0 direction

If you happen to have this page bookmarked, you may want to update it to be http://www.jackieoyeah.com:8181.  Apache keeps getting messed up on this shared host, but lighttpd (on which this rails app runs), is fine and will respond on port 8181.

Wasn't super stoked about how JOY's displaying on PDA's these days, but ditch it if you have to.

Doesn't CSS have some sort of small screen designation?  I could toss together a style that would be appropriate for that.  Anybody know offhand what that media type is called?

In the meantime, it renders pretty well with OperaMini.  It's a lot better than the old site was.  Is there a simulator or something I could use to make sure it works with your PDA?  Absent school, I might actually have time to work on this.

I added a new style in the media of "handheld."  Benben, let me know how it does.  It certainly looks better on my phone's default browser.  I spent 5 minutes on it, so please point out problems i undoubtedly caused.

I saw this page through the lens if ie 6 this evening.  it looks pretty different; check it out.  i'm still debating whether it's worth fixing.
