There are some pretty cool, random opportunities at Microsoft that I consistently jump on.  Most of these opportunities come to the MS Theatre Troupe (of which I'm a cast member) as "we need creative people to do random stuff" requests.  So I just got back from a voice recording session for Rise of Nations: Rise of LegendsThey stuck me in a recording studio for 20 minutes of battle cries, wounded sound effects, minimal dialog, and lots of dying, burning, etc.  My voice is utterly destroyed, but I got to do some really fun, amazing stuff.  I threw in an "oohhh, if I don't rest soon, I'll certainly get scurvy" for Isaac's sake.  The sound producers laughed their asses off and said they'd try to get it in as an easter egg...
